Why I will never again visit this tuner in Charlotte, NC
All I can say is wow......
An oil fitting that is not tighten enough will come loose under servere vibrations.
I think no matter how mad a shop manager gets, he or she should not cuss at the customer.
Shop owners will be very very upset if a check got stopped.
Customer will be very very upset if he think he got overcharged or ripped off.
Everything on the invoice should be clear of all charges and customer should review it prior paying them.

Evo...
What invoice? I wasn't given or even offered one!
and you have voiced one of the possibilities of what may have caused the fitting to come loose, though I'll never know for sure at this point. Been almost 2 weeks since then, tho... have another 600 or so hard miles on the car and SC. So far, no further problems at all.

no recete or a invoice for the work done? That the first. Basically, a business should provide you a bill of sales which clearly shown what work has been performed and all the charges.
I'll bet the second time who ever tighten the fitting will make sure it will never come off again.

Glad to see that an explanation was reached. This thread doesnt change my mind to having Underground work on my car. It seems that both sides of this arguement could have acted differently (AKA: in a better maner). From the reviews (other than this one) it seems that Underground is a great tuner and are very successful at what they do.
1. mcduck, you shouldnt have stopped payment on ANYTHING that was agreed on before hand. If you had a problem with the cost, then you have to discuss it BEFORE you let Underground touch your car. After that price is agreed upon, then THAT IS THAT (no changing it).
2. Underground, it sounds as though you got a little "too" upset with the stop-payment issue. I agree that you may have been very upset (I would have been angry too) but your temper is something that you have to work on controlling with customers. Im sure you would agree that it would have been better to hold the steam inside of you and calmly explain (again) to Mr. Morris why its cheaper for tuning if installation was done at your facility. (I know its almost common knowledge but some people may need this explained for some reason...)
Thats all Im gonna say from me (an on-looker).
By the way, NICE NUMBERS! I cant wait to get my Z and get the Vortech on there

Duck... I wish you would have come out to cpr saturday night. I would have really liked to have seen your Z. I feel bad for the whole thing with underground. I was thinking about getting my Mustang tuned there, but might look elsewhere. Were the people at cpr nice about the whole thing? I bough some stuff from them and they were perfect to deal with.
reallyredZ...
I have had absolutely no problems at all with CPR. They have been very professional in all my dealings with them and have went out of their way to ensure I was happy with our transactions.
Could not make it Saturday... I had to go the mountains this weekend to make some final preparations for ZDayZ with Fontana Village!
