Default Vortech timing

Hey all,
First, next week i will need to tune my S/C and I am trying to gather info for timing (as well as a/f, etc). I have read most of the related threads but I really want to be sure I have enough retardation (hehe everytime I say that I crack up) at high RPM's. I read that Fluidsz has (or at one point had) 1 degree retardation at 5000, 2 at 5500 ...etc. Would this be considered a "conservative" setting or more aggressive? I am really looking for something on the conservative "safe" side. Thanks in advance.

Second, do we have the ability to control the maximum PSI? Wondering If i can set it down for daily driving and maybe move it up for track day.

Third, I also read Zimbo's suggestion that a/f should be somewhere in the ~12 range up to 5k and then slowly make its way down to 11.5 @ 6.5k. Again, is this more conservative or aggressive?

Thanks,

1.) Set ur retardation..lol to 6 degrees retardation at 6,500rpm, 5 degrees at 6,000, 4 degrees at 5,500, 3 degrees at 5,000, 2 degrees at 4,500, 1 degree at 4,000........this is safe and exactly what Zimbo's timing is set to.........Vortech set mine a bit more aggresive, the most important part is at 6,500 RPM being retarded 6............

2.) Can't control Maximum PSI as far as I know

3.) LOW 12 range to 5,000 rpm and slowly down to 11.5:1 at 6,500rpm. Its PERFECT if you ask me.

PEAS!!!
