$14,060 Installed Greddy & Gages
Balanced Performance (Sugar Hill, GA) quoted me $14,060 for the Greddy kit installed, boost controller, and Greddy mgt controller.
That seems awfully high compared to what I've read in the forum.
Is this ridiculous?
Anyone know of a cheaper or better option?

It might be pricy, but thats because they stand by their work, and probably because of the quality of the kit and how many problems they had installing Bini2's. Having to modify pieces to fit the car and all.

That pricing is absolutely outrageous...even if they stand by their work. The items you listed should be installed for well under $10K, and I am being very generous with that number.
Most guys are getting their kits with basic installtion for between $7500 and $8000, the ProFec e-01 for about $500, and misc installation charges for about $300. Gauges should cost about $100 each, and if you get a Wideband A/F, that would be between $300 and $500.
Apprently, the first batch of Greddy Kits had some fitment issues, but my kit fit perfectly.

Hey guys, this is bryan from Balanced performance. It sounds to me like somebody quoted a turbo install instead of a supercharger install. If that is so, please reply to me at balanced performance. Bryan White 678-546-3133

I provided a "heads-up" email to Balanced Performance, thinking that they would be interested in MARKET PRICES.
Sounds like they are interested.
Yes the GREDDY is a TURBO. They installed ONE (1) and charged the customer $14,060.....which is what they used as a basis to quote me.
Can anyone recommend an ATLANTA area installer (with experience)???

Sorry guys, I was in betwen customers here and didn't really have time to pay attention to what I was reading or writing. Yes Greddy is a turbo kit (sorry)! The price that was quoted came from the Z that we just did. It included intercooler, pro fec b, turbo kit, bov, in car wide band O2 sensor, extra labor to custom fab guages into dash, custom fitting a mesh plate on the front bumper and paiting it, etc... So the price that was quoted contained much more than the basic install. I apologize that we quoted that without specifics, but there was much more done to that car than what we explained. I could probably come closer to the price that you guys are talking about if I knew what exactly was needed. Again sorry about the post before. I tried to edit once I realized what I posted but it was after the ten minute time limit. Thanks

I am not trying to direguard any opinion but, do you have any idea how much a wide band o2 sensor is and how much it costs to custom install one. You do know that the kit does not come with an intercooler. If some is looking for a price to install a straight up turbo than fine! I will do it for 8000.00. No intercooler, no tuning, no customer fab, just a turbo install. All we are trying to do is eliminate the well know fact that when the car comes in the customer usually wants to do more than just a turbo kit. They want things like guages put in special places, they want 1000.00 wide band o2, they want 1000.00 worth of intercooler set up etc... We just try to eliminate all of that

I'd say forget Balanced Performance and look elsewhere and don't even bother with the Greddy, get something else.
I'd go with the JWT TT if you're looking for Turbo. Vortech if you're looking at SC's.
