All it means is that you are insecure and somehow think becuase you wear (or have worn) a uniform you have some rights or insights that others do not have. If you didn't, you wouldn't have brought it up in the first place. "Oh...he's a marine. Ooooooooo.......better watch out."

You want some respect? Being a marine doesn't automatically give it to you. No matter who you are or what you've done, you still have to earn it. Your conduct here merits no respect. You are good for a laugh, though.
No I don't you expect to respect me. Someone like YOU never would. This is an internet site. Your idea of "conduct" seems to be a bit skewed. The point of this forum is to have fun and share knowledge with others. My original post was intended as a joke which falls under the fun part of this all. I you are too uptight to laugh about a joke then that is your problem. My point of bringing up my military service is that I have fought for the right to express my opinion and will do so when I please. If you don't like my opinion then don't pay attention to what I say. The reason you can sit there and insult someone in the armed forces is because have obviously never served. I dont fault you for that. You didn't have it in you. But let me ask you something about respect..every year they have a Veterans Day and Memorial Day. A time in which we salute those who served before us. And those who have served since. That last time I checked there was Ungrateful Internet Tough Guy with no Repsect for our Service Members Day. But I propose we start one just for you. That way all of us in the military who continue to believe this country is worth fighting for can look at you and remember that every person who is NOT like you is who we ARE fighting for.

Yes you are one of those precious few as well. I only hope that one day you talk to a Marine or former Marine. I would like for you to say some of these things to some of the guys missing limbs, or that are permanently disabled. Chances are you never will. People like you don't care. You are both a simple reminder to me and my fellow Marines of the type of people who we have sworn to defend. When I re-deploy to Iraq in the coming months I will keep you both in mind. I will not forgot that I am fighting for your freedom to disrespect, disregard, and insult those who fight for you. Semper Fi

I have nothing but respect for those in the military and for what they do. What you fail to see is that it has nothing to do with acting like a spoiled, foul mouthed child on a meaningless internet forum.

Grow up and start acting like man you think you are. Maybe then you'll actually deserve some respect.

You took the words out of my mouth. "Meaningless Internet Forum". Exactly my point. I was just having fun. The guy jumped on me for it. I explained my right to post what I choose. If you do not like it, don't read it. I don't care if you don't respect me. I have the respect of the poeple that matter the most; my friends, my family, and the Marines who work for me. If you don't like what I post, don't read it. To each his own. I will continue to have fun here and help as many forum members out as I can. I've run out of ways to explain this to you so this is it. You obviously have your own opinion of "conduct" on this "Meaningless Internet Forum". I don't see it your way and honestly don't care. So just to show that I am "the man I say I am", I will agree to disagree.

Too bad, I was hoping this thread would stay on topic. I suggest that when two people hae a disagreement on something completely unrelated to the topic at hand, they respond to each other via pm's and do not ruin a thread.

BTW, every since DW has been a discussion on this website, I have been in contact with Nick there. SportZ will be happy to test this product as soon as it becomes availible for testing. It will be interesting to see how well it performs.

Im tired of this crap happening every time there is a dreamworkes post!!!

MIAPLAYA, I thank god for the US Marines and am grateful to you as well, but I dont even know how that got into a thread about a supercharger!
By the time you get back from Iraq you will either truly have a reason to rag on DW or you will be feeling silly for saying so much crap aboput them.
The design for that SC is absolutely amazing. Compact and even beautiful. That it is roots type makes it even more attractive. (No waiting for spool up!) A little bit too sophisticated for some 2 bit scammers to think up.
Think about it. If you do you will probably come to the conclusion that this thing is real.
Instead of being negative , just admit you are like me: A little pissed that they are keeping us in the dark. I want real pics!

if you are all really curious as to if thing is real or not, call Eaton Superchargers to see if they are indeed selling SCs to DW to develop. that should give you a definite answer!

I don't think DW was building this charger. I think it was a company called alpine developments but they dropped it a while back ago. I would venture to say that this thing will not be out anytime soon if ever. It would take a picture of it on the car for me to believe that this thing is coming out.

Joust, my original post was a joke intending to be funny and reference the fact that we have no solid proof of this kit and the it has been handled by the company. I too would like to see this kit as a reality but just like the B15 Dreamworks project that fell off I don't see it happening. I am exactly like you...pissed about the lack of solid proof. The only reason anything else got dragged into this is that someone didn't take what I said as a joke. We argued for a while but have agreed to disagree. I apologize to all the forum members for hijacking this thread. I was trying to make a point and I apologize that I got carried away. In an attempt to atone for my indiscretions I will create a new thread with the original post and promise to keep that one as on topic as I can. Once again my apologies to all the forum members for my lapse in judgement.

I am an NCO in the United States Marine Corps and i do know how to act. If I goof off every once in a while FORGIVE me. I think i have EARNED that right. But what am I explaining myself to you for. YOU would never understand.

Being a MARINE you should also know that it is in your best judgment to use tact and present yourself as a man of character. Not to be a character. You not only represent yourself but also the Marine Corp. You cannot expect a civilian to know the tribulations a soldier goes through. Your job, like mine is to defend the honor of our country and it's people regaurldess of how some may take it for granted. Everyone has the right to express how they feel. Being a Marine doesn't garnish you or anyone else in the armed forces with more rights to mouth off on someone else because they did not serve. Marines are Marines because we belive in what they stand for and as a Marine, beholding that honor is all the self assurance you should need. Respect is meaneaningless coming from a person with no selfrespect. You cannot expect everyone to respect you, like you, and be grateful for the service you, I, and everyone else in the service provide.

I appologize to everyone here for all of this going off into left field. As for the DW SS, it's been a long time with little to show. I for one am going with the Stillen. The power it provides meets and exceeds my needs. There are systems that produce more power but I use my car as a daily driver and have no need for 500hp at the crank / 420hp at the wheels. Plus gas is getting more expensive daily.
