Default Other Greddy TT Costs -- Plan for them!

The location of the Greddy Waste Gates makes it very hard to change your Casts and Transmission. The Waste Gates are right in front of some of the bolts for these two pieces.

I had my Crawford Cats installed on Saturday. Normally it takes my shop 1 hour to install the cats, but it took them 2 and a half hours (they charged me for 2 and gave me a great deal on the Dyno).

Today I am having my Tranny replaced under warranty ( long story but they are covering under warranty ) and they need (at most) an additional 3 hours. They want me to pay for the 3 additional hours; I feel that is very fair.

This issue could be due to how my installer installed the kit, but I doubt it.

This is something to consider when you purchase mods for the Z, plan for these types of issues. I set aside money for these types of issues, so should you.

Before the TT install, I gave my dealer the heads up that I was installing my TT kit. Talked to the service director about it. My dealer is very nice. They said that the engine warranty would be voided as soon as the kit went on.

I was having slight tranny problems before my TT install. I had the kit installed and the 6th gear grind (Syncro) got even worse. I took the Z in and did a drive with the Service manager (who already knew about my kit, gave him the heads up too) and he said they would cover it under warranty.

I think you should've gotten the tranny problem taken care of before you went with the TT install. But you are lucky that you had the problem before you got the TT. Good luck and I hope nobody runs into any problems after the TT installs!! I'm still reading the boards and seeing what problems people encounter before I go with my kit. I'm trying to hold out for the JWT kit but it's getting hard to wait!!!
