Default For those that installed Walbro 255--Quick Q.

Do I need the installation kit to install the Walbro 255? Or do I just need the physical fuel pump itself. I am assuming I can use all the stock parts if necessary, and just swap the pump. Please advise.

THANKS!

Just swap the pump the wiring kit supplied is not required for a direct swap if it fits.

The pump just plugs in but only fits in to the housing after some mods to the walbro plastic bottom. The pump is too big for the housing so you will have to shave the bottom of the pump. After shaving the bottom plastic down completly it fits pretty good.

Don't mess up b/c Nissan can't ship the housing currently. I tried being inventive w/ the return tap but failed and now have to wait indefinitely for a new plastic fuel pump housing that only nissan sells. PM me if you have any problems. I battled with the freaking thing for a week and no one else should have to.
