Twin Turbo Question - Maintenance
I was just wondering, what kind of maintenance and upkeep is invovled with an aftermarket turbo kit for the Z? Is it any more than a stock vehicle? Are there timings involved? Would you be taking the car into the shop often for adjustment?
Thanks ahead of time@!

Same service intervals, except most of use run synthetic oils, and I change mine every 3000-4000miles....some may go longer than that...I might be doing a bit of overkill.
The only other thing I do is idle the car for a minute at shutdown via turbo timer.
I also periodically pay close attention to all the hoses and lines that run anywhere near the turbos. It gets hot in there, and although everything is heat wrapped, its a good idea to make a habit of checking the mission critical lines and hoses.
Hope that helps!

If I am not getting into the boost for 5 mins prior to the stop..then I just shut the car down right away...no waiting. But as a habit, I let the car idle for 1min....just not at the gas station.
