Wideband mounting questions
Wow, it's been so long since my last post. I just got back from Vegas to find that UPS decided NOT to deliver my Vortec kit to the neighbors, although, it was OK to leave my $500 Zietronix wideband and boost gauges, along with my plugs on my FRONT PORCH!
Fortunately, I don't think they sent it back, so I should be able to pick it up tomorrow and get to work on wednesday.
Alright, on to the subject of the post. The instructions on the wideband say that it has to be mounted on the cat pipe at 10-12 o'clock, which is essentially pointing straight up into floorboard. (supposedly due to condensation destroying the sensor if it isn't in this position.) I have kinetix test pipes sitting on the workbench and I have to get a bung installed, but I don't know where. Does anyone have any pics of an installed O2? or the cat bung placement? and is there space to mount the O2 at 10-12 o'clock on the cat pipe without it hitting something?
