Default why tt and not a bigger single?

Well I have been checking out the z and I am not comparing it to a supra because every car is different but all the kits I see on here are twin turbo where as a supra to upgrade those they do a bigger single turbo. WHy does the 350z do a twin? Is there a bigger advantage to a twin on this car or whats the reasoning behind that?Just curious , Thanks to anyone who replys

I think it's simply because there isn't enough room.
Also, It's a h3ll of a lot easier to do a single turbo on an inline 6 compared to a v6.

Jeff is right, there really isn't enough room to put a nice big single turbo under the hood without modifying it.

Oh ok I just assumed that a twin would take more space since all the plumbing for 2 compared to one, Thanks guys

no its possible quite easily the reason why no companies do it is bc

1)you cannot mass produce the manifolds which are very complex for a single on a v engine
2)it costs less money in parts to them to make a tt
3)ppl believe twins are less laggy and more streetable than a single
4)at low boost a single is not very efficient

top secret has a manifold and turbo setup for a single which is very nice but is also quite pricey. it can be done but its likely gonna be custom work.

the twin does take up more plumbing for i/c but not as much for the manifold.
