Default My Stock 350Z With Vortech. Thanks Charles!!

Hello everyone. I want to start out by thanking everybody on this forum for helping me out with making the right decision on modifying my 350z. I have a 2003 DB Performance with no mods other than a grounding kit. I decided to get the Vortech SC and with your help I found Charles and Chris from CJ-Motorsports to do my install.

The car had a baseline run of 246Rwhp, I was very happy with the strong stock motor to start with. I was worried that it would be in the mid 220's. Charles did a great job on the install with no problems. It took about a week because he had some other cars there also, but it was done right and that’s all that matters.

The first dyno after the kit was on with no tuning put down 350Rwhp, when he called me and told me I was so happy I thought that was the final number that I would get with tuning. Then after several more Dyno runs the final number running very rich on the top end was 371.04Rwhp and 336.97Lb-Ft. This is where I am now until I receive my AEM Wideband O2, Defi boost gauge, and test pipes. With more tuning I think I can get close to the 400Rwhp. If anyone is in the Chicago land area and needs a great installer go to Charles from CJ-Motorsports.com. They are the best; I will be going back for all my installs. Sorry about the long post.

Yes Chris worked very hard on my car and I want to thank him also. I didn't know if anyone on this fourm knew Chris. My car was nothing compared to the sick 1000+hp Vipers that Chris has worked on.

I would like to ask everyone what test pipes I should get for my car? I don’t want it to be super loud. Thanks again.

Yes the car is all stock other than a grounding kit. I am going to get test pipes and a Evo 2 exhaust. I am very happy with it and also have surprised a few cars on the street.

1.Evo from 40 to 90 roll. Beat him by 3 1/2 cars.
2. Two Billet Mustangs- one from a stop light to 80mph 4 cars ahead.
3. A friend’s twin turbo Supra 6 speed with exhaust from a 30 to 100 roll. I was 4 cars ahead of him. "He was pissed"

This is all with in two weeks. I have to be careful not to get caught.

Hey DBZ33 - I am assuming you have a 6mt. I am thinking about F/I for my G35 Coupe (5AT though). I'd like to take a look at your setup as I have not decided if I want to go SC or TT.

I see that you work over at ABT. I actually play softball next door to you at the diamonds next to the AON building. I'd like to swing by one day.

Also, if you don't mind, PM the total price for installation, parts, etc. I'm trying to gauge how many banks I have to hold up to pay for it
