Makes ya wonder what kind of profit margin Greddy has been enjoying til now!! Thank God for competition!!! Anyone know how much the APS TT will be listed at after the first 100 kits are pre-ordered??

The MSRP will be approx $8250 after the special introductory release price for the 1st 100 APS TT systems............of course it's possible you may be able to negotiate a better price from the dealer of your choice................we all know you Americans love to dicker!

Dicker....really.....LOL.....i prefer women....but hey...to each his own!

The Greddy kit wholesales for $5000, so the dealers arent making much profit, but Greddy likely is reaping most of the profits

Today I placed my order for the APS 350Z TT kit with Brainstorm Performance in L.A. They said that they only had 3 left from the 25 that they were alloted in this first production. Apparently they are going pretty quick. I wonder if other APS dealers have sold all their allotment. The sceduled date of delivery is still Sept. Has anyone else reserved a kit?

We are also giving a few install and tuning incentives for those who pre-order before the end of July!!!! We can also ship if you don't have a dealer nearby or we even have a customer interested in shipping his car to us.... Don't wait to long!

Hey thanks for your kind words on the APS TT system.............and APS will sell some components seperately...........the air cooled high volume oil pan will be the first part APS offers as a stand alone product...........followed by the APS high volume equal distribition replacement manifold plenum.

This will be a brand new NC machined casting (not reworked) and will improve air flow distribution (on a more uqual basis) to all 6 cylinders.

Both parts will be available at very attractive prices later this year.

I would order a kit, but would like to do so from a dealer in Dallas (I like to shop local :P ) seeing as how you are planning to have an authorized installer here.

Interesting, you make one announcement in this trend after another.

Good luck with the plenum, any idea how it will look and will it fit under the factory strut bar?? If it does fit under the factory strut bar, that will be a big plus for you guys. Will it look similar to the stock plenum or will it have runners and such?? How long til it is out??

Well there's an enormous amount of new product development going on at APS for the 350Z............and the new high volume plenum is only 1 of many new products.

The APS plenum will be released before December if all goes to plan and will be complete with a new strut brace.

It's not really possible to increase the plenum to the optimum size and still retain the factory strut brace........after all the main objective here is to ensure equal air flow to all 6 cylinders.

Will post some pictures of the APS Plenum when the project has engineering sign off...... which may be 6 to 8 weeks from now.

Polar,

Talk to Chris at Wasabi Racing in Carrolton. I have discussed the APS products with him at the Thursday night get together at Texas Stardom and he holds them in high regard. I know he said they pre-orded some kits, maybe 8 or so. Anyway, give them a call and chattem up......good guys to work with.
