Just ordered the hood so I can get it painted. I'm starting to get scared about the huge purchase. Does a supercharger put added weare and tear on the engine. Am I hurting the engine in the log run. Plan on keeping my Z 4 Eva!

btw, when I had my front end worked on with the hood, somehow, the ground wire for the intercooler electric pump got loose, shorting out the pump. I asked stillen about a replacement on friday and they (Dean in sales) said he would get right back to me with a price (I bought used, no warranty). I'm still waiting for his call. I bought the pump locally from a manufacturer's authorized dealer, and even got a reply from the manufacturer in Australia in less than 12 hours. Their tech dept. is awesome, as are their products, but sales sucks.
oh yeah, I'm not so sure the oil burn is because of the supercharger. I've got an early VIN and its not that uncommon in non fi early cars, I just noticed it after about 3000 miles on the install.

There is a driver and map to control an extra injector.
