Finally got the OK from wifey to SC my Z. I want to go with Stillen stage 2. Whose got the best prices? Will I have to lose my Nismo CAI? Whats a ballpark installed cost?

I dont know the answers to your questions but I love my stillen stage 3, it is purely awesome. I think you can keep the intake, but it comes with it's own plenumey thing

expect to pay about 6,500-7,500 for everything..

5000-5500 for the supercharger
500-800 for the hood
and

900-1500 for installation of the S/c and hood

I installed my own hood with no problems.
I just love the power delivery on the charger though!
I dont know who else sells the stillen, I bought it straight from them!

Before you buy it I would see if anybody has any problems
with the stillen. I have the stage two with all the stillen toys
and it only makes 271 RWH. My belt squeeks and the idler arm
sounds like a diesel truck. I wish I would have put the Crawford
package on instead, the difference in price is $ 14,030 CDN .
and I would have 10 hp less with no problems

Whats Jimthegreek's feedback on your Stillen SC? Is it worth it? Why are some people not happy with theirs? Bad installs?

MY Nissan dealer did a good job of installing all the parts.
The problem is that they are not compatable with each other.
I understand that the black stillen box can be retuned by
them so that the car will run better

Got a phone call from stillen tonight and they explained to me
why i lost boost and I will be removing the cats and will pick
up a lot of hp. I will then dyno the car and see the diffrence.
Next step is remove the headers and I will gain even more
power. Once more I will dyno the car and I should be close to
300 rwh. Thanks for the contact at stillen . He was a great
person to talk to.

totally love the car. So far so good.....

I would definately take the stillen F/I over the vortech or the ATI. Way too many problems and tuning to be done with those two that i'm not looking to spend more money on. The stillen may make less Hp and be a little more $$$, but its worth it to run smoother and less headaches down the road and less trips to the dyno trying to tune the focker every couple months.....

thats why i chose stillen

330 is good for the stage 2.I dyno'd at 297rwhp.I installed the pulley and intake and now it feels more like 320-330.
Anyways, I was at Willow springs on Z day and there was a Stillen SC with an APEXi engine management.I'm pretty sure he said he had the headers and cats.He said he had 360 to the wheels(255/30fr & 315/30/18rear on TE37's!).
Has anyone tried a new engine management besides the Stillen piggy-back?

car tonight go 266 hp. with a new mass air flow sensor. I'm told
that will fix my problem.

I too am wondering the same thing.... Anyone? Maybe with another management system and tuning it can compete with Vortech.... No? Yes?

the problem with using another management system would be in using the 7th fuel injector, I would think.
