Default Exhaust Vibration?

I posted a couple of days ago about my Kinetix resonated pipes + Nismo exhaust setup. My exhaust had developed a crack around the tubing which was blowing like mad. Got the system welded up today so that is fixed. The exhaust is not leaking anywhere now and all joints are tight.
There is a vibration that can be heard from the outside of the car (as well as inside) at exactly 2500rpm. I've checked and the exhaust isnt touching anywhere on the car, clearence is okay. Is anyone else experiencing this??? I cant think for the life of me what it is, but its very annoying.
Am I alone???

I had a similar issue with the helix testpipes.....

nothing was touching at all, but it had a metal-like vibrating sound (and rasp) at about 2800 rpms.....

i think its the exhaust sound really, not the physical components contacting anything .....

went to crwaford cats and lost 100% of that sound, thankfully

Seems to have disappeared now. Dont think I like the sound of these pipes at all, has some rasp to it, but just sounds like a broken exhaust to me. I would have just expected the resonated pipes to make it deeper. Sick of messing around with this exhaust now, might have to go back to high flow cats.

Default exhaust rattle

Yeah, I too have a rattle at about 2.5k rpm. Goes away when the car warms up though. It has a raspy grating rattleing note. It started after I had the headers and cats installed. Tomorrow I'm going to try and get it fixed. Must be metal on metal somewhere.

I think this might be your gasket vibrateing if it was not lined up correctly I had that problem because I used different bolts.

Theirs definately something amiss, I didnt think that the system would have the rasp with these pipes, but it sounds terrible. I'll replace the gaskets and see if that helps. What a nightmare this exhaust has turned out to be!
