VORTECH tune 5a/t update
colettaZ dyno from the same shop i used....
notice how VERY similar the baseline vortech numbers are??
as i repeatedly say, add 7-8% to the peak numbers the equate to most DJ dynometer outputs (for arguments sake only!)
looks like Sam got the new a/f reports!! will have them also on tuesday, after my re-tune!

ps- save these images please, rather than hyperlink them from my site..... (thnx)

A couple of things I notice on your dyno..[1] your peak horse power is at 5850rpm with SC...and 6000 with out....both seam low rpm for peak [2] your wieght is set at 3,000 lb's ? I not sure but that may cost you some numbers on the dyno . Correct me if Im wrong ....the Z is 3,200 plus lets say 200lb for drive , 50 lb for the SC maybe more . I puy my wieght at 3,700lb's....3,400 + 220 for my fat a$$ , 50 SC and then just rounded it off .Any one got an opinion on this ?
Mustang dynamometer printouts sure do suck. I'm guessing we're missing part of the A/F plot printout, no?
Looking at the dyno chart you're either not getting full boost up top or you're still quite rich.

Im not really sure how the weight and other stuff afects the numbers I am new to the dyno process. But I do know the car feels totaly diferent than before the dyno. I definatly can feel a strong pull right about 5000 rpm and up.You have to remember my tuning is also based on making my auto shift right so I am sure some things are different.

He told me he ajusted the psi for the fuel pump or fmu on the ss box to get it to shift right. As I understand the car was getting way to much fuel at the shift. Also does the weight even matter on a dyno? I know it will effect your quarter mile times but will it effect hp.
