Exactly what zimbo said. They just started to not hit redline because max power is at about 6200. the 7100 redline I see it really as a cushion, I still use 6600 as my personal redline. If you look at the dyno with the 3 done (second dyno sheet) they did go to 7100 at first and then said forget it for the last one. 7100rpm in 5th gear is about 155mph. On the dyno that was done in march, the reason they didn't go to redline then was that there computer read an a/f over 12.5 and he stop for the sake of saving the engine.

I would use the emanage but the afc would do a much better job of taking out fuel which is what I need to do. I read somewhere that you should not take out fuel using the injector map on the emanage. It doesn't work that well. if you have used it for this please let me know. You seem to be the emanage guru.

Thanks for clear it up for me. Your right the only reason I was able to add more boost was because it was running so rich. The flash does not know what boost your running, it is only set for a specific level. Still like it though and it seems that TS likes to run it on a really safe side. For you it would be a great investment just for the fact that I think there was a video of you running at the track and a little rich is what you would be looking for. spaz

You can still use the eManage to reduce fuel using the "airflow adjustment map". This map works exactly like an AFC, in that it tweaks MAF voltages to reduce fuel.

Then you can use the "Add injector map" to add fuel towards redline, where you appear to trend up a little bit...although not dangerous or anything.

So really, the eManage is still a more accurate solution, becuase you can reduce fuel ala AFC with MAF conditioning, and then add fuel via increased IPW whichi is more precise and reliable that adding fuel via AFC.

The only downside is the eManage and all the adaptors and stuff you need will likely run you about $450-$500, which I think is a bit more than the SAFC... You would need the eManage unit, the injector harness, the RPM adaptor, the Greddy support tool cable, and software. The software is availible for free from various sources, but the cable is proprietary. I know a guy who sells a cloned cable for $50 shipped...that's what I have.

In the, I have stated that the TS and eManage are sorta redundant. But now, I've changed my mind, and, if money is no object, then I would fo a TS reflash, and use that as my new base to tweak further via eManage.

Remember I still have the emanage and harness just not the injectors. And with the eo-1 I can program it. I might have to try this. o well so much for not chopping the harness up . Thanks Spaz

Go with the RT Cats. They seem to flow the best and you won't get the smell. Even though I have read about them falling apart, I have good luck with them.

Nice numbers, I am glad everything worked out for you.
I am flashed for 9 PSI and running 9 or less depends on how I accelarate and I went with the Walbro 190L. I have the Crawford Plenum, P.E. 380's, Edge High stall verter, Borla Headers, Stillen Straight pipes into a Borla true dual now and it all came together nicely.

If your exhaust is wide open, you keep things cool and get the flash right on the timing I think you can run 9 PSI on this engine daily. I have been doing so for I don't know , since 2003 at least.

The straight pipes brought my car alive, I'm gonna post a new thread on that so I don't thread jack but again great setup you have man you did everything right!

I thought the same thing at 1st, but once they get coated in the inside, it goes away.
Now I wouldn't trade them for Anything else...

Fuel Odor?

It's a race car or a family not with FI not much in between. I don't have any drone and I am quite happy about that. Ditto what ACP said about the straight pipes, great mod for FI.

I think the fuel odor is only bad cause it's running rich. Once I get my car tuned to a proper A/F at 8psi with Greddy, I think it will get toned down quite a bit.
