When is the HKS SC coming?
I spoke to the HKS guys at the Nissan meet in Gardena, and they unit was installed and they claimed 333whp, with stock cats and aftermarket exhuast. I believe this was the same exact car that was at the LA Convention Center SEMA event in Jan. The unit looked really nice...good quality, and an excellent fit. The engine and blower sounded absolutely sick! They included some kind of "black box" to control fuel and timing enrichment, but I wasnt clear if it was user programmable or tunable. I think the only drawback is the price, since I am hearing anywhere from $6000-$8000 plus installation.
Until I see some more installs and independent dyno's, we'll just have to see. I think the unit is technically launched and on sale, but I havent seen it at retailers yet.
Any else know anything on this?

how did it sound in comparison to say a vortech or ati unit? Is it loud at idle and wot?
much quiter than both at idle. When he revvved it up, you could definatley here the blower...I tight higher pitched sound, but I could also hear the engine and exhuast as well. It didnt seem to whistle as much as the Vortech or ATI.

thats encouraging. So what do you think something like this is capable of putting out rear wheels stock and otherwise with some mods? Think its capable of at least 350 RWHP?
