Default Vortech Question

If i were to get the vortech kit, and have it installed and dont have it tuned just have it run from the stock ss maps and just the factory settings, if i were to get a exhaust system or high flow cats or test pipes, would i have to tune or adjust anythng?

Thanks,
Jordan

In fact, I'd go so far as to say that if you're not going to tune the car with the R4 software you are BETTER OFF with a Crawford plenum, test pipes, and free-flowing exhaust. You'll still be pig rich up top to the point of losing power, but you'll be safe

exactly...

they (vortech) build in ALOT of fueling into the stokc SS mapping.....

to benefit from the upgrades (and the vortech for the matter) get a dyno mappoing session scheduled... try to find a tuner w/ r4 experience (and a decent, up-to-date dyno.... load control is the best, IMO)
