Yeah I am starting to lean towards the SC, but which one? I want the money to be well spent.

I would go the TT route. You can get the greddy kit with FMIC, testpipes, and exhuast and have some very good power. It might come out to be alittle over 7grand, but with the greddy kit you would have more upgradeability if in the future you want more power.

I dont know if u can find someone to swap ur pistons and rods for cheap, but if u did go with the procharger 11-12psi + Forged rods and pistons (9.1 C/R) + some kind of piggy back to control fuel and timing. I think u are going to get really close to 7K or even a little bit more. U would end up with a 450rwhp+ car and it wont break on u soon. It will have a very fast throttle response for road course use too. As u can see there is a chance that the stock rods will let go even with 5psi in some cases. I wouldnt take that risk and do it right from the start. Good luck.

TT. It will probably cost more in the end, but you'll have a lot more potential in the long run. If you're going to invest thousands of $$ into FI, go with the TT. How many guys have sold their SC for a TT? A few. How about the other way around? None.

some people have said it cost up to 14k for Greddy TT, and that's without internal modification.

14K for what? I was looking into the Greddy and I got some good prices 9000.90 shipped for-

Greddy TT
Greddy Intercooler kit
Greddy profec e-01 boost controller
Greddy Type-s BOV
Greddy Full auto timer
Greddy 52mm Electronic boost gauge
Greddy 60mm warnig peak/hold af gauge
Greddy Evo 2 exhaust (ON ITS WAY NOW!)
Jim Wolf clutch
Jim Wolf Flywheel

9000.90 Shipped

I would have no problem getting help for the install some of my best friends are certified techs they will help for next to nothing the problem for me would be tuning ANYONE KNOW A GOOD SHOP IN SOUTHCENTRAL PA? MARYLAND? I am not looking to make my Z a race car I just want some more power. I would be satisfied with the Greddy at 6psi. If I am not looking for racecar power are internal mods a must?
