Default Vortech + nitrous + h20/ethanol injection

I think I might try this out to get a bit more torque throughout the revband.
Going with a 50shot of nitrous from 2k-6400rpms. But I will also have a alcohol/water injection system hooked up to spray at the same time as the nitrous. Hopefully, this will prevent detonation. Any comments on this setup?

I'm pretty sure you can do nitrous/alcohol injection. But one concern is can the stock internals take that much power? Even 50shot produce a lot of torque at low rpms, so it may break the rod.

Also i wouldnt spray under 3k RPM because u might have a back fire in the intake(Not good). Im sure u can go with a SC + 50 Shot Wet kit with no need for alky water injection. U will need to tune it good. As was said before the problem will be ur stock internals especially the rods. Good luck.

I used nitrous and A/W with no problems.

I had a DIY Alch/H20 Inj set up for street with non intercooled 14psi in a Vortech kit on my stock VQ30, worked great. I could put back 4 degrees of timing advance with the Alch/H2O Inj. I used thm both when I went to the track and never had a problem. This was part of the set up that got me to 11.9

They should work OKAY together, however N20 somewhat counter acts the anti-detonation effects of WI alone. WI slows the flame front propagation thus reducing chances of detonation, however N20 speeds up the flame propagation. Both cool the intake charge making it less likely to detonate. The alcohol increases the octane rating mimicing a tank of higher octane fuel on demand without the $5/gallon price tag.

Dry or wet nitrous?
