Default Skyline Motor Swap

Does anyone know where I can find out some info on a Skyline twin turbo swap, on how much it would cost.

I was thinking of building the bottom end of my VQ35 and going with that new Single turbo kit that should come out soon.

What do you think spend money on the Stock motor sleeved with Forged pistons and Rods? Sell my Vortech kit and go with the single turbo kit when it comes out?

OR

See how much a twin turbo Skyline motor installed would cost and do the swap.

Thanks

Saw a Review on Spike Cable TV

It showed a VQ35 in a Skyline as the top car to beat in Japan...

Aired last Sunday..

Cheers Amy -

in other words...give the VQ some credit Really, what's the point of a skyline engine swap unless you want to make some ridiculous 1200hp beast? :P

it would cost way more to swap in an rb even with rwd with no parts @280 crank hp, than it would cost for you to fully build your engine with a greddy kit and internals to 500whp.

Thanks for all the feedback. I think I will go with the built VQ35 motor. I will start this project over this winter. I just hope the single turbo kit will be out soon that some people were talking about. Thanks again...

z1 let it drop a while back that an unnamed company was developing a single kit. could just be speculation, but z1 seems pretty reputable.

I just read a post on this not too long ago. The company that was developing it finally said f#$% it, we're doing a twin setup.

I think Ultimate Racing originally wanted to set up a single Turbo set-up but decided to scrap that project and created a twin set-up. I think the other single turbo are JDM and not available here yet.
