Hoods getting painted and I'm about to order the ST2 From Stillen. Nissan guys are telling me 15 to 17 hours labor. Forums suggest 10 to 12. You guys are the experts in my eyes. Any feedback from my Z brothers out there appreciated!

 

Stillen states and charges 12-14 hours of labor. Their actual install time takes about 8 hours tops... but they dont refund you any money.

 

B - A few of the guys on the G35Driver.com site say it's a relatively basic bolt-on procedure that they did themselves in about 6 hours ( over a weekend of beer!! ). If U have any decent mechanical skills or know someone who does, maybe consider doing it yourself?

 

I'm not a professional mechanic, but am pretty mechanically inclined. Including cutting the hood and putting on the scoop, doing the complete stage 3 install, changing the oil and spark plugs, uninstalling the underdrive pulleys, and some other small project I did, but cant remember, the install took me 14 hours.
