Okay This WILL sound dumb, but can you run a turbo timer on the centerfugal superchargers? They seem to have more in common with a turbo than a supercharger. I mean they burn oil when the suddenly stop just like a turbo applications right? i am just curious, my freind asked me, and i didn't have a answer, so I figured that I would ask here.

i already have a post on this, and i asked the same question. Everyones response was that the supechargers dont run nearly as hot as a turbo does. turbos actually get red hot under boost. I can actually still kinda touch my vortech right after i turn off my car. i wouldnt do that with a turbo unless you wanna cook your hand...haha....so theres really no need for it since there is always oil running through it even when you dont boost....
