VDC and FI cars?
Since running lean is death to FI motors, do you have to turn off the VDC all the time.
The VDC cuts fuel when it detects slip, so wouldn't this cause a super lean condition?

Yes the TCS system cuts fuel but it is not for a long enough period to cause damage. You would have to be lean for longer than the second that the TCS is working. I normally keep mine of anyhow. Tire spin is a major problem now so the thing would be kicking in constantly.
i was told by my mechanic that i HAVE to turn my VDC OFF if i am running HARD with my Vortech...he told me a story about some guy killing his engine because he was beating his car with the VDC ON....
i am going up to see him today...i will get this story cleared up for you guys...
