selling the whole deal...
guys....
im in a bind.....
kinda, sorta......
i am gonna have to sell the car... and all that goes with it...
yes, i only have 2400 miles on it... yes its only three months old...
and yes.. it burns me to even post this....
i am posting here just as a heads up, and to thnak you'all for the invaluable info, specs, phonecalls, and experiences i could ever expect to have....
as it stands, i NEED a car with four doors.... i have to take on a new role in my life, and owe it to my parents to follow through with this.
with heavy heart, i am offering everything on my car (stock parts as well) and the car itself, for 36K.....
please visit HERE for the f/s thread....
i might entertain parting out the blower and exhaust (and selling to camax, i guess), but for now i really wanna do the whole package as one. its hard enough to even have to face this, but i am..

man you just like me...............
get a:
F-250 Powerstroke 6.0L diesel Crew Cab (4 doors) 4X4
Then get a Superchip Micro Tuner and boost it up to over 400rwhp and 700rwtq and pull 14.2 in the qrt. with 1.7 60' times
then get a 5" exhaust and downpipe and be in the 13's
then get propane injection and be in the 12's
all for under 2,000.00 in a 6,000 lb 4x4 bigger than a excursion.
NOW that is fun......period.

It sucks to see a fellow G owner have to give up their ride. Sorry to see you go. Enjoyed your informative posts and insight.
I even talked to my wife last night about selling my G and buying yours. She said huh? I got the "you're nuts" look and decided to leave it alone.

it is very nice to have such good online acquiatances, and friendships. I have been battling this decision for about a month now. the timing couldnt be any worse i guess, but i have to step up and do what's best for my family. Its an unpleasant decision to make, so i am moving the parts immediately. I have sold the blower and cats already.
Im afraid i had a feeling all along that someday, (when i didnt know) i might have to do this.....
honestly, i have no regrets on the car, or the awesome relationship/customer relations i developed with John O. - service dir. of Lokey of Clearwater (inf. dealer) and Sam @ Coastal Chassis Dyno.....
i wanted this car for sometime now, but really wanted it to go as fast as it looks.... and did it, with flying colours....
i dont know how soon i'll be back, but for sure I WILL buy another sportscar again (coupe possibly, or TT gtr, or import a skyline r34, or ???)
again, thankyou for the pm's emails, and post replies.... i will stay on this board for the near future too, to watch the progress of the blower buyer (and give my wacked mini-mods support too...lol)

im not dynoing it now, i have sold the blower and cats already, and will be uninstalling this week (mon maybe)...
it'd be kinda wasteful for me to dyno the car when im not gonna drive it anymore (NTM, i am upset enough already). Guess we'll have to look to someone else to see the true 287 gains....
im sure someone else will step up and givbe it a whirl..... its a great pulley ratio, IMO, and really makes the vortech kit shine (much better instant torque and spooling)
so, who's gonna go first??

Steve....I'll see how things work out with it . If I end up with 8lbs or a little more , I may send the blower to Vortech to be checked .And if its bad , and I get back a good blower . I more than likely will stay with the 3.125 .You may not want to wait that long , as it will take some time to get straightened out . I will let you know whats up with it....Bill
