Default SPAL Fans on Vortech Intercooler

Since I have decided to stay with the stock fascia on the vehicle I decided to help the airflow to the intercooler. I have build the cage below to hold two SPAL 650 CFM fans. These will be mounted directly in front of the intercooler to provided needed airflow. I will activate the fans based on A/F ration (12.5 or lower) that will be triggered by my WideBand Commander unit. What do you guys think?

interesting idea......

its been done on another IC, but not sure if the added fanpower is better than the lost surface area.....

it'd be nice to get a thermo reading (on the cool side) to have for comparison sake
