Default Upgrading Vortechs Auxillary Fuel Pump

It seems there have been issues with vortechs fuel system. The fuel lines to be exact, Do you SC guys And TT guys think it would be more feasible to run the Walbro intank fuel pump instead of the the factory intank along with the Vortech auxillary. Or will there be to much pressure causing the rich sputters at idle. Can the FPR be used in conjunction with a walbro intank, The fpr is boost dependant right? I just need to know because it seems like a good hit to the bottom of the under carriage could knock off the lines pump causing and inferno, I feel the vortech fmu could used some revamping its sufficient but definitely could be improved . Please all you FI guys tell me what you feel would be the best upgrade for a FMU for lets say a 500.00 budget thanks -Ernie

I'm not sure what you mean by vortech auxillary. If you want to ensure that you have enough fuel you could always run something like a Walbro 255 in the tank and a Walbro 255 inline or something very similar. The FPR causes boost/fuel to be 1:1 ... the FMU's are junk and that's all I'll say about them.

Hope this helps you!
