Thumbs up Update: Ultimate Racing TT install

Hi all,

First of all, during the install we noticed some differences in specs between US and SA, this include the radiator, which has 2 rows instead on one and the deferential housing, which is fined all over. I guess this is directly related to the differences in temperatures between the two countries.

Anyway, back to the install, overall, the install is going smooth, the only thing that is delaying the completion is me I keep on upgrading things as we are installing.

Ok, this picture shows the deferential housing and the fins

The mufflers. Before we installed the TT I toke the car for a spin with the new exhaust system, man it sounded really aggressive. The white stuff is from painting the car, I blocked the little holes behind the rear emblem and a door dent

Another picture of the deferential housing. As you can see the piping is so close to it, and it was touching the housing cover, so we had to shave off a bit of the fins from the left side

Some more

Intercooler. We had one setback here on the SA specs just like the europen specs we have the headlights washer thing, so that had to go. And I will use the button inside the car (Stock look) and the pump to spray the intercooler with water, the good thing I can use the same windshield washer tank to supply water to it.

One of the things I wanted to upgrade was the oil return lines. I did upgrade them to stainless steel and AN fittings. The driver side was ok, but on the passenger side the thing keeps on bending, so I’m going back to what Darryl suggested in the first place normal fittings

In this picture you can see the hose and all that space around it. Man if I can only take some of that space to the other side, that would be great

Dump pipes

I’m planning to shield off the fuel feed lines.

The quality of the pipes is great, I'm really happy with the kit.

Can you see the little K&N breather filter. One in the front and one in the back

I will keep you all posted. Happy Zeeing

Az

Smile aalzuhair - a question?

Hello..

It took a little while to figure out the TT plumbing..

But the "Kit" does make sense.. I think you will be fine with UR..

The "High Temp" differential looked familiar.. With the case fin's and Finned rear plate.. The question I have is : What is your "Final Drive Ratio" ?

3.51, 3.76 ? ?

BJ at Evo350 has a 3.90 Rear drive... That would be good for track use.. Poor for high speed or daily use..

Reply when you can..

Cheers Amy -

Ick, That's a terrible location for your o2 sensor. Don't expect it to last long mounted like that. It's supposed to be mounted from -45* to +45* to keep condensation from forming on it and cracking the element.

Man, Those half shafts look beefy, I never took a good look at them until now.

It’s Nissan (Al-Hamrani) doing all the work and I’m supervising all the work with Darryl’s’ help from Ultimate Racing.
