Default Greddy TT Install Underway, Need Advice

We've searched the forums and was hoping to get a clear cut answer on the following. I know I've read about each issue before, but perhaps I'm not using the right search words.

1) Airbag sensor: does it remount vertical and if so, do you have to make a custom bracket?

2) NGK Plugs: what gap are you using?

Thanks in advance!

Gary

The Airbag sensor whould go in verticaly in the same spot except without the big bracket and only using one of the studs.

I got 2 step colder plugs and already came gapped at around 37 and left them that way, there is a wide range of gaps used on this forum.

a common gapping with F/I applications is .31
I also went two steps colder Greddy plugs. NKG Irdiums are identical, and cheaper...get those instead.

There is a bolt - after the FMIC is installed to mount the Air Bag
Sensor.. This is a bolt that is on the Hood Latch...

The wires must point down..

See posts of Wld350Z - Perhaps posted by AmyCroft..

Search is your friend..

Cheers Amy

I've never heard that before. I've only heard that the sensor must be mounted vertically. Can you confirm this or point me to a link?

I did eventually find the threads where I read about the position of the airbag sensor (vertical, with wires down). I guess me and the search feature don't get along because I still can't find the thread again *LOL*.

I appreciate it fellas . . . it seems like the install is going somewhat smooth with the exception that I'm missing a few small pieces here and there

If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely have bought it from an authorized dealer. Live and learn I guess.

Here's another question:

Greddy replaces the window washer reservoir with another one that mounts on the opposite side from the original. The new reservoir doesn't have a sensor to detect low fluid. What did you fellas do about the harness that plugs into the original?

Cool . . . thanks for your help! Now I just need to pray that Kenji overnighted my wastegate gaskets . . . (slight oversight)

Gawd, this kit is going to give me nightmares . . . if it ain't a missing part or a part that was sent by accident, it's someone forgetting to overnight a part! I'm glad I didn't try to tackle this on my own time. Also extremely glad that the installer doesn't quit after the pain he's gone through
