Well, JOENISMO...you were right....it will be 4 weeks longer than their "revised" completion date.

The good news is the car will be done on Friday (10 week total repair job), and the guys is doing amazing work. I took some new pics of the car, and everything is installed and primered. They removed the body kit and most of the panels for painting. Take a look! It actually looks like a CAR now.

I can hardly wait till I get it back!

Latest estimate is $25,000-$29,000 in damage. It is so freaken expensive to work on this car....the damage really didnt look all that terrible. No frame damage..just body panels and suspension stuff.

Wow looks great!! I was wondering why they didn't total the car if there was $25,000 - $29,000 in damage? Good Luck...

becuase the fair market value of a car like mine is $26,000, plus about $20,000 in mods, so they used 46,000 as the basis for the repair. The original estimate was $15K. So it was within their repairable parameters.

no special insurnace. I have Nationwide, and they covered it. When I loved in Los Angeles, I had State Farm, and they also covered anything permanently attached to the car.
