booger...
Most have been getting the same rwhp or very close with the pulley change, but have been seeing the power come on earlier (for example peaking at 5500rpm instead of 6300rpm). Is this the case with yours? I really don't want more power since I'm already over 400rwhp. What I want is more total area under the curve. Can you post before and after dynos?
daddyz...
The vortech 34 tooth part number is 2A032-034. Keep in mind this is also a 50mm thick pulley instead of 35mm. Shouldn't affect the belt you use, but you will need a longer jackshaft bolt. And, you need to be sure to monitor how close the edge of the pulley comes to your intake pipe. I know on the G35 setup it runs very close. On the Z, we have a little more room so it should be okay.

My dynoes.....ended up looking exactly the same . Although my A/F was richer down low with the ...9.5psi and crawford cat dyno . I was thinking about that yesterday . Looking at both , I noticed my A/F didnt drop under 12 till after 4,500 rpm with the no cat dyno...and now its dropping below 12 at 3,600rpm . If I would have noticed it when I retuned I would have leaned it up some down low . I do feel like it does come on sooner .But with an auto.....you cant really see it on the dyno...In manual mode , in 3rd gear , you cant just floor it as soon as you shift . You have to gradually get into it or it will down shift into 2nd . So once it gets passed 3,500rpm , I can go WOT and not before then

This was/is a very helpful thread!
If I just change to the 3.12 serp pulley do I need to change the belt? If so, can someone provide the part number for the belt?
Thanks very much gentlemen.
One additional question. I read that when you change engine oil you're suppose to clean out some little filter on the Vortech oil line. Can one of you guys point out where this is? I would assume it is where the pan tap is...
Thanks again.

yup thats for the 3.12 pulley . Thats what I got on my car right now .I got it at O'Really's Auto Parts . Use the first # when asking for it .But both #'s are on the sleeve that it comes in . Napa has belts to fit....there belts are made by Gates . Just ask for a 6 rib micro-v belt....93 inches long
