That was a regular WRX with exhaust. Although at his power level, I doubt an STI will give a lot more of a challenge. I know of one local street driven one that's pulling ~12.3 1/4 mile passes with a way over spooled 16g with maybe 1.5k invested. But still, I think he could probably pull on that kinda car as well.

 

Yeah that was no STI, and yeah he was racing. If he wasn't racing that distance would be doubled. =]

 

That vid is awesome! I wish I could hear more of the car cuz it sounds soooo quiet. I'm used to seeing honda racing vids and all I hear is the exhaust.

However, I don't think your vid can compete against the Afro Ninja vid :-P

that's a great video.. quality isnt the best, but it's got fun commentary, some decent music and good footage of the car moving.

if you do another vid, have john kerry stand outside the car and do some passes and let us get a feel for outside driving sound.

bonus footage is always nice!
