I will do a base dyno run in the beginning of next week with APS's base 91 octane map but "might" not be able to have it fully tuned on 94 for a few weeks as my tuner is tied up building Ford's Sema vehicles for Vegas... We will definately keep you posted as the install develops and post out impressions as they come.. The case of Red Bull has been purchased, the Metallica CD is in the garage and we are ready to go.... STAY TUNED!!!
And all the "Jason DO NOT TOUCH" signs have been put all over the tools and parts....

Hey Phunk thanks for the nice compliment and I hope you get to do an APS TT system install and tune in the near future.

Thanks

How is the tuning going to work for people that have built motors (low comp. forged internals etc)? I want at least 500 rwhp and I want an APS kit, I do hope these two requirements are not mutually exclussive ....

Peter mentioned his fuel system is good for about 500whp. So it sounds like their piggypack system would just need to be retuned for greater boost. This needs to be done at an authorized APS dealer/tuner.

This turbo should work just fine with a built bottom end.

If anyone else needs Pauter forged rods and Arias forged pistons....i have the best prices around. PM me.

I've also seen him allude to the fact that they're currently working on the "next phase" of their turbo product, and if I'm not mistaken, I got the distinct impression they were going to do a "built" engine. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me; I don't remember the thread I saw it under; I just seem to remember running across it and it stuck in my mind.

Thanks and we believe this was the best approach to return the Twin Turbos lubricating oil and to ensure some additional engine oil cooling as the APS oil pan is larger and holds around an additional1.25 quarts of engine oil.

We need to investigate the auto trans issue (strength of the auto trans) so if any of you guys have any practical experience with FI on the auto model I would be interested to hear from you.

Thanks
