I don't think you are going to find that information posted here anytime soon, right now it is only found on the www.**********.com website as an exclusive thread. It is also understandable because of the up and down situation of this website and MRC Motorsports not being allowed to post about being an APS distributor.

As Ray said, the installation write up can be found on **********.com but I will post my driving impressions... Does that sum it up!!!!

We finshed getting the car back together late last night so I haven't put many miles on yet and will get it back up in the air later just to retighten all of the hoses and check my fluids.. All I can say right now is that the car has been transformed.. The power is immediately noticable and is through the entire range. The fitment is PERFECT and the quality as we all know is outstanding.. Much more to come over the next few days... And once again, if anyone in the tri-state or surrounding area wants to check it out, please feel free to email me..
Thanks,
Jason

Seems there must be a fad going around..

"
mySQL error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)
mySQL error code:
Date: Monday 11th of October 2004 10:01:34 AM"

So my350z isnt the only one affected by this mysql problem..

Yeah its in the process of getting a new dedicated server..Still not down nearly as much as this site and they dont charge REDICULOUS amounts of money to advertise on a site thats down every other day..PS, Since you guys are the "OFFICIAL" APS sponsor of this site, I am sure you have all your kits in already and installed one already right? Got any pics??

I am confused. So there is no plan to post some pics of the installation, and a road test review on my350z.com webboard? Maybe I misunderstood your original post??

Also, the 350ztech website is still down.

My interpertation:

(1) He can't post that "stuff" because of his realtionship with APS and his non-relationship with my350z.com

(2) He's posting it to ********** because my350z is down very often.

(3) ********** is down now, it wasn't down this morning at 6:00AMish, I saw the posts looks interesting enough, didn't see any real information othe than it took 30 hours to install and they played with it for a few miles

(4) What will happen next, dunno

Everytime he posts a thread regarding something he sells Vic deletes it cause Stricly Z is the "official" APS sponsor of this site so we are not allowed to do so as its considered by Vic as advertising and a threat to Strictly Z's business, so we try to respect that and found the Admins over at ********** more responsive to the install and the reviews..

(2) He's posting it to ********** because my350z is down very often. this is true and the fact we have more freedome over there..

I have over 100 pics of the install and really didnt want to bore people with long drawn out technical information with such things as how we had to modify the fuel pump to fit...Please be more specific as to what you were looking for and we will do our best to accomodate as we are the only ones so far who have installed the kit in the US as of now..

(4) What will happen next, dunno
********** will come back up and you will have to go there to see the reviews as we dont want to step on anyones toes here..

Got it on the politics.

As far as 100 pics go, I saw about 10, I don't know if you actually posted them.

Of course you don't want to bore anyone, as far as real information I didn't mean to use that term so loosely.

What I should have said is something along the following:

(1) Any install problems or issues, that were not expected or advised about that needed to be overcome.

(2) It was posted that the kit was installed, and driven a few miles, but no feedback about response, performance curve, PSI used, whether or not the car was tuned or just plug and go.

just to make it clear:

I wasn't complaining about MRC or about the post/pics.

Thanks for all the effort and info!

I will answer any questions people have as best I can in the time I have but will definately post more in the very near future... I have literally put 5 miles on it so far last night do to other obligations I had today but want to go over over hoses and lines tonight before givin it its officially "beating".. We are running the base 91 map that comes pre-programmed untill I can get to the dyno(coming in the near future) The only guage I have hooked up right now is the AEM wideband 02 which under load is reading between 11.2 and 11.8.... I have resonated cat pipes and Borla... Like I said, I haven't drivin the car super hard yet but will be back at my shop in a couple of hours... The power gain was noticed pulling it out of the garage in reverse .. The few quick runs I took with it proved what APS has said about the power band being smooth!!! Their is basically no lag and it just screams to be driven..The turbo's are actually pretty quiet under "normal" driving conditions but sound like a jet taking off around 3000 or so!! I will post more later tonight...
Thanks,
Jason

Hey Peter, I can tell you after riding in it the other day with Jay that two words come to mind..... "Holy ****" I was totally amazed at how much it pulled and it did it all the way to redline without ever letting up. Talk about smooth and powerful. It felt like full boost came on around 3300 rpms and then it was hold on to your shorts because the car just took off like a rocket. Another way to put it, we spun 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and chirpped 4th.... Now that is awesome, and its not even tuned yet.

Need help with an install of your APS kit, New York/ Long Island Customers can call Performance Motorsport .

Now accepting appointments for Turbo installs AFTER SEMA.

November 10th and beyond.......

if in NJ, please call MRC for install, they got it first, we wanted to wait, so if on long island and you have a kit on order, and need a local shop to do the install, we want to do it.

Note to MRC: We want one install to see if the kit is something our customers will purchase, no offense ..... ALL NJ Customers please call MRC.

Wow that's awesome to hear and thanks for your posting.................sound very similar to my own Twin Turbo Z car.

I was starting to worry a little as I had not read anymore info about the APS TT System install over the last few days..................would really appreciate if you can keep up all updated with any news over the coming weeks.

Thanks

Peter

If you want to see it in person, I will take a ride down to next week! For a few FREE dyno pulls that is... We will hit a dynojet in a few days but I am curious to see the difference on the mustang.. Dan, email me if you are interested..

As far as driving my impressions....
I am still running the base map and although it is hard to watch the boost guage while holding on for my life, I seem to have no problems hitting around 7lbs... I have only put about 80 miles on it so far as we had a few minor issues we were working out.(not APS) related... But that should be all fixed tonight!!!
Peter,
The car is a BLAST to drive. The power is so smooth and usuable. I have driven vipers, supercharged vettes, tt porsches, etc and all I can say is that the power is at my control, not the cars, making it a pleasure to drive.... I plan on hitting the 1/4 mile by this weekend to see what it does before tuning it....

Jason, and you other guys in the area. We're having a big 350Z/G35 meet in Rockville, MD (about 3 hours from you guys)...Last time there were 90+ Z's, dunno about this time, but I know we have about 15 of us just coming from my area alone. Anyways, you guys should come up and represent MRC Motorsports, it would be great promotion, and I know we're all dying to see the kit...plus it'll give you a chance to drive the Z for a road trip

Anyways, it's this Saturday at 12 at the Hooters in Rockville, MD:
