I do admit Z is not fast in the straight. In fact, few months before I bought my Z, I beat one with my Eclipse. But that's just straight line. Overall Z is a very well balanced car, and it is really good for tracks.
Yeah, I know lots of NA CIVIC that's fast on the track (with turns). And Civc, especially EK9 is ideal for canyon run, but most of them are in Japan. Most of the Civics we saw in the US are just built for straight. Honestly, most of them can't turned.

Now, if I swap my VQ35 to JGTC VQ30DETT. I can smoke a Ferrari any way I want, and any time I want. Can Civic do that???

i got a sentra that'll eat your civic on street tires..... i also have a z that'll eat your civic... if youd like, i have a friend with a hyundai accent that'll eat my sentra/my z/ and your civic/your z.......

I'd race ya. Just gotta finish my k20a2 swap into eg + boost.
the swap alone will beat stock Zs. It's pretty common to have a honda in the 12s. the fastest one here in hawaii is in the 9s.

Theres no way this guy owns a Z. Why would you pay 30k for a car you hate . Why dont you post some times with Street tires it would be more like a 13.2 which can be easily done by a Z with minimal mods I did a 13.6 with just an intake my friend has more mods on his civic and is in the mid 15's. We can make our Z faster than a ****n Ferrari but we dont go on there sites and post "my Z will smoke your ferrari" just to be an A**hole, just look at ZainT's #'s he is putting 428 rwhp @7psi you need like 110psi just to get to those numbers.

I'm sure 90% of Z owners won't go FI, but is it absolutely necessary? It's not THE fastest car either, so it's something I don't brag about. It's fast enough. I never bought this car with the thought of it being ridiculously fast. If I want fast, I'd get a Supra. (sticking to 6cyl engines).

I'm sure a majority of Civic owners aren't runnign FI either... maybe they bought it because it's an economical vehicle.
So if the Z is smaller, lighter, comes standard with 14" wheels (hubcaps) and drum brakes on LX models, 15" for Si model, halogen on all models, contains a 4banger (capable of producing craploads of power under FI), VTEC on EX models, single exaust tip, macpherson suspension, 5sp manual.... would all of us be owning this car?
No matter how fast each car is... the Z ALWAYS turns heads versus the Civic :-)

Like i said, i also have a Z, and it's a cow, the civic's powerr is sooo much better to drive in. All Z's need forced induction to feel like they're moving. Don't try and lie about the Z's power, it's just not there. THEY ALL NEED FORCED INDUCTION.
