Just thinking ....While my motor is apart I may as well upgrade the injectors .Do they make larger injectors that I can just plug in and be good to go with a new tune ? I know there are some larger ones that you need to patch in [wires] . I would like to get some [ if possible ] that would allow my aux. fuel pump to run with less preasure when at heavy or WOT with out going thru the hassle of trying to patch them in.....any help ? PE makes 380's that just plug in. It just depends how much boost you want to run with the new motor. I want to say PE also makes around a 540 that also just plugs in.

 

I woulds imagine that the 540's would need the ECU to be flashed to run them ???? dont know . But would the ECU run the 380's with no problem ?

 

What are you HP goals? If it's over 450whp or so, then the 380cc's will not be sufficient. 510 PE's would work. All of these bigger injectors will require a TS Reflash, or an eManage to scale them. Otherwise, your car will run rich at idle, start, and cruise.

PE makes very good injectors, but they are nearly twice the price of RC's. I plan on using RC 550's or 650's for my motor. THey do require cutting the stock connector, and soldering in a new connector....it's easy. RC's generally give you a slightly rougher idle...but to me...it's not worth paing twice as much for a smoother idle.

I was still going to do a GB on this if people are interested, but over the past couple weeks, it sounds like some folks went down other options...like HKS Pro, etc..etc...so we might not have as many people interested in doing the GB.

 

Im wondering if the R4 program for my Split Second will be able scale them back for idle and cruise. Need to get a hold of DFW350Z....he said he put in 550 injectors and was controling them with the R4 , He said he would post on it , but havent heard from him
