Default Sold my Z, went back to my love for F-Bod LS1's.

Yeah it's true. Bought a GTO. Nice big easy to mod V8.
Already have some sweet chromed 18 in Fittapaldi Force shoes on it with Dunlops. I'm shooting for 500 HP with this car and it shouldn't be hard. Lots of stuff already available.

I'll be around but my Blue Baby is gone and my new GTO is Black on Black.

I made most of my friends here in this section and basiclly lived here for 2 years so I thought it best to post this here.

I'll be around but Peas to my old friends and lots of names I don't know who don't know what I went through haha!

I did N/A, N20 and SC and just got bored. Car still ran strong at 10 PSI when I sold it for those interested.

Peas!

Max,
I was wondering where you've been, and now I know. V8's? I can't lie, that car is bad, and because nobody is buying them, they are practically giving them away. I saw a brand new one with $8K off the MSRP. Good luck on the new ride.

Those things can be the ultimate sleeper if you do it right. Too many people see them as Grand Am/Prix's and just don't pay attention to the deeper grumble. lol

Good luck with it, and like Enron Exec said, I hope you got the 05 LS6!

CHP offer you GM special pricing?

You can pick those up for invoice, as they are collecting dust on lots around here! Should be a NICE toy to make VERY fast, VERY easily...

Lets see how much better the LS2 heads flow... can we say easy swap?

I got under invoice, 10 % off, 3500 cash and 2.9 financing for 5 years.

After selling my Z I was able to put down 9 grand on the 04 model plus the $3500.00. The 05's will be extremely marked up.
Of course having a connection at GM didn't hurt it's who financed me (GMAC.)

I am looking at a 510HP package or maybe some milder mods from Thunder Racing, lots of stuff out already.

It's nice to have a trunk again for all my gear.

Hey I will miss all the goold ol boys at Crawford and the diehard FI guys here.

Chris, Dan, Alfred et all I am always an email away and tell Doug I said hi!

Oh yeah Chrissy,

Most of the stuff intake etc is LS6 except for the internals which like Chris sais is a swap. It comes stock with a true dual which of course will be the first thing to be chopped at, then the intake but I will be staying N/A with this one, heads, cam etc. It is a good sleeper at 365 torque stock. I saw one with a mild one shot dyno 426 to the rear wheels all else stock. Not bad eh? They are so mod friendly it's sickening and for 1/3 the price. Borla makes a catback already that adds 25rwhp and their are 4 headers to choose from. I have been reading and tuning is the key on these right now.

How does the GTO feel now compared to the Z? Have you taken it to the track yet?

Anway, have fun with your next toy. Let us know when you hit the 11's.

Freakin eh... click here and enjoy!!!

Just two good old boys
Never meanin' no harm
Beats all you never saw
Been in trouble with the law
Since the day they was born
Straightnin' the curves
Flattenin' the hills
Someday the mountain might get 'em
But the law never will

Makin' their way
The only way they know how
That's just a little bit more
Than the law will allow

Just two good ol' boys
Wouldn't change if they could
Fightin' the system like
Two modern-day Robin Hoods

Thanks that's cool I D/L'd it!

"How does the GTO feel now compared to the Z? Have you taken it to the track yet?"

Well, it shifts smoother and runs cooler hehe (inside joke for A5T FI guys.) But no I haven't tracked it yet.

Honestly though, it's a firmer feeling that's hard to explain.
Sort of like having more power but being higher off the ground and having more weight and width to move but once it launches it's gone in the top end.

Stock for stock it would embarass these N/A V6's running around everywhere now but against any of these FI cars here it would lose. It needs more torque and about 75 more rwhp to even be a race in the 1/4 and about 450rwhp and a weight loss diet to be a good race but I think it's a safer bet than one I had, my car ran hot when the A/C was one, I mean 3/4 up the dial at the 75 % mark! It has more room to grow and the engine will probably last longer than my blown FI Z car would have.

Changecan be good and I am happy with it, it's not my first Pontiac LS1/6.

Well I already dropped 1200.00 in mods that are on the way.
Intake , Exhaust, Pulley, and BMR STB.

Here we go again!

Found a pretty cool site that sells lots of FI stuff for the Z and my GTO and they shipped everything out the same day!

You ought to see the FI HO Pack they sell for this car! Sick!
With a handheld tuner and injectors and in tank pump etc...

This:

and those newer higher flowing heads are next payday!
