Default driving without a BOV

Okay I am selling my Greddy BOV to get the HKS BOV. But I need to take the Greddy one off first and ship it out. And my HKS wont be here till a week later. Will it be safe for me to drive without a BOV for a week? the pipe is going to be weld shut so no leeks. I am having the HKS BOV installed befor the MAF as well. My Greddy one is installed right by the intake manifold. so he is gonna weld it shut.

the purpose of a bov is to relieve pressure between your turbo and your throttle body, so pressure isn't forced back on your turbo.................just wait till you get your new one in
