Default How much head work do we need?

I was wondering if it is worth going with over sized Ferra vales or any other types of head work along with out built blocks or are cams the next most cost effective way to increase flow? If so, what cams would pair up well with centrifugal SCers to increase mid range if that is at all possible? Thanx!

Enron Exec...do you have a Vortech or a ATI ? I cant remember . But Im adding Nismo cams with the engine rebuild also .Was wondering the same thing myself .Along with figuring out how to run larger injectors with the R4 program

I have heard the stock heads flow quite well but I have taken mine in for full port/polish, 5 angle grind, and gasket matching. I wanted a light port and polish just to help things along a little as well. Exhaust port was what needed the most work. I am really thinking about cams too.....the costs just add up so fast.

I have the ATI SC. According to Procharger's website, the C2 charger can push 1100 CFM at 24 psi. I did some very ruff estimates and i think with my 8.6 pistons, i will only be able to reach maybe 520 rwhp at best pushing that boost with some exhaust work. I hope im wrong because that seems awefull low.

How much of a gain do you think your head worl will yield g356gear?

I really have no idea at this point just because of the newness of the engine and there aren't many people who have done a p and p to their heads yet. I know that SGP does a full P and P with their motors and with cams do get some better power numbers. With FI I think it will benefit turbo more than SC just because of increased exhaust flow and velocity.
