APS TT 1/4 mile TIMES..FIRST IN USA!!
The owner of MRC motorsports was at the track tonight and ran a 12.1@114 with a 1.79 60ft on a stock engine with 60,000 miles and a stock program for 91 octane and conservative timing!!!
Basically the kit is EXACTLY how it ships...The only thing the car had was DR's!!!

60,000 miles in just 2 years; that is alot of driving. The APS TT is a very comprenhensive system, critical support components are included in the kit; no shorts taken or band-aid solutions. Very impressive; it has tremendous potential, I hope that APS will listen to its end users and continue perfecting the system and packaging.
Here are some teaser shots: click on images to enlarge

J, do you plan to drive down to the Philly meet, Fri or Sat morning?

Yeah they ran a 9.2 psi map for 93-93 octane on theirs with more aggresive tuning, not much more, but more...We will tune this week cause we have 94 octane readily available at the pumps here in NJ. Should see about 50-60 more rwhp...All I will say is that the Dyno numbers were VERY close to 400WHP on a load based MUSTANG DYNO (thanks to the guys at Performance Motorsports)...VERY CLOSE...
Now keep in mind we did ZERO tunning, did not up the boost, NADA..Just plugged it in and put on some sticky tires and ran it with full interior and a 250lb meat head driving it who missed 2nd gear 3 times
The videos should be up on:www.**********.com
Excellent times. Really great to see a company take the time to develop a kit like this. Of course, it helps to have learned from the mistakes of Greddy and PE..LOL. But seriously, they put together an increadibly complete kit, and with an attention to detail that honestly...I have NEVER seen in the automotive/tuner world. Very impressed so far.
I would love to see those dyno charts on a dyno-jet....for consistency..in SAE corrected numbers.
Great work everyone!

The APS Intercooled Twin Turbo system was running 7 PSI and the Z car was on drag radials, not sure what brand though.
A really good ET for the first time at the track don't you think?

Oh plus there was a FAT A$$ driving 250lbs and the Sub boxes and the tire and jack were in the car..Weighed in at about 3580lbs with driver..
i cant run tires like that cause i cant go any smaller than a 18" wheel.
thats not bad of a weight if the car has a stereo in it and everything... my car doesnt have any subs or nothing and its 3500lb with me driving (180lb)
did you put the car on a dynojet yet for comparison? i would be curious to see? probably around 410-425 rwhp possible more tho since the car hooked so good, maybe as high as 445rwhp... trap would probably be a little higher on a DR.
i would like to get a copy of the dynojet file so i can compare spool up characteristics and what not.

Anyway, the car felt great, I was actually launching easy because I have already been through a set of axles... I will be running this weekend on Saturday at the import survival series and will be shooting for 11's!!! I just have to see if I can get the cage done this week since they will throw me right out... Stay Tuned for some more great APS Times!!Jason
USA'S first APS owner/driver
12.1 sec qtr. mile is great. What mods does the car have in addition to the APS TT? You say stock engine, but do you have cat back exhaust or anything? If you are pure stock other than APS, hell I'm sold! Whew! Damn!
