Default Unorthodox Pulleys w/ vortech?

Would it be OK to get the complete unorthodox pulley set with the vortech kit......should i expect bigger gains since SC is ialready there or just claimed gains?

I dont think you can use it . Im sure you cant use the crank pulley....its smaller and you will make less boost with it

You should not use the crank pulley. The crank pulley, as booger says, will result in lower boost.

I kept the other two (non-crank) pulleys, tho, and have had not problems with the set up.

I realize this is a little off topic, but could you run a crank pulley with a turbo like the Turbonetics system that is coming out in the coming weeks?? I have my eye on both of these and dont want to waste $$ on the pulley if it will negate boost with the turbo. I wouldnt think it would negate boost as the turbo is not belt driven.

No with the SC because it is belt driven off of the crank, it's fine with the turbo as they are exhaust driven.

You should see larger gains than a NA Z would with the pulleys on a turboed car.

Aaron,

I just sold my crank pulley and belts because I read that the smaller circumfrence reduces the boost. I kept the other two for looks and I didn't feel like taking them off.
How's your engine bay looking? A little paint can really make a difference eh?
