Default Difference between HKS EVC 4 and 5??

Hey guys...anyways i've been hearing diffrent things lately...but i've heard that the EVC 4 is much easier to use and not as complicated to program as the the evc 5. Since it's been discontinued..i was wondering if it would be better to search for an EVC4 hopefully new..or used...or just settle for the EVC 5?

Both are easy to use....the EVC5 has a slightly revised solenoid, but I agree the 4 is a tad easier to use

I heard the opposite from Danny of TS (formerly). I.e. that Iv is harder to use than V. I have the V and love it. It's hard to use for the first 5 minutes, than it is very intuitive. The programming I admitcould be easier, but that would necessitate more buttons imo, so this is not bad at all.

V has a faster acting stepper motor I heard. I love the precision and responsiveness of the V. It is a *****-out controller, will never part with it.

there is no way anyone who has used both would find the 5 easier than the 4. I can program a 4 in my sleep....a 5 I always need to bust out the booklet for
Performance wise they both are excellent units...if you find anyone with leftover 4's, let me know!

the EVC IV worked great for me.. confusing at first but then you'll get the hang of it.
