Forced Induction and engine Bay heat.....
That power sure is nice, but damn!!!! My engine bay is HOT. Engine temp doesn't seem to be any higher than stock, but I'm wondering if their is any kind of aftermarket coolant that may work better to absorb heat. Do I really need to worry about this at all? Should I upgrade my coolant hoses?

You could try coating and heatwrapping all of the hot parts. For normal driving, I wouldnt worry too much though. If you constantly track or autocross your car, I'd invest in an upgraded radiator and oil cooler.
Water Wetter is good stuff. But mabye you should try removing the weather strip on the back of the hood near the windsheild. That will allow more air to come up from the ground and exit from there, reducing under hood temps. I did it on my Z.
I use water wetter and yeah, it's awesome. I also "jet hot" coated my exhaust manifolds to reduce engine area temps and did your traditional heat wrapping to avoid any melted parts
get a vented CF hood? just an idea... how much do those really lower temps.... and kind of off topic but does a pyrometer guage measure temps? if so maybe getting one in a FI engine bay might be a cool experiment vs. a NA Z's underhood temps
ever see what that "water wetter" does to the radiator over time? Dont bother IMHO. I used to run it in my own cars a few years back and over time it gets very gooey...not a good thing IMHO. I gave up on all the "snake oil" remedies out there...I find no need for them.
Best bet is jet hot coating the exhaust - might even want to look into doing the exhaust side of the s/c as well. Would also be a pretty good idea to wrap the intake
This car produce boatlloads of engien heat in stock form.....not much room for anything to breath. That was one of the reasons I got the Seibon TS hood, Koyo radiator and NISMO thermo.
Coolant is coolant - as long as you have the right mix, it does not matter what brand you use. The thermostat regulates the flow of coolant through the engine....colder thermo will open sooner, and cycle the coolant through engine more frequently.

Has anyone lowered the fan switchpoint yet? I'm assumeing the ECU controls the Fans? Can the set points be programmed Consult?
