Thanks...I think there are at least 3 kits that I know of that have been installed.
Please post your dynos and boost level.

LOL, is this going to be a repeat of the PE Dyno's? I still don't think one good solid dyno has showed up for the PE kit yet. Which I think I know why after talking to a couple of people that know what they put down.

Alpine's car (which has a APS kit) had a sign on it at the Mossy show saying it made 360hp. I don't know what other mods he has.

Gary, It's common knowledge within the performance industry that Dyno Jet dynos read higher than most other true load based dynos (like the dyno that Alpines car was tested on, DTS dyno) that's why I believe the question is being asked.

I suspect that you'll find that the same car (Alpines car) will measure approx 400 rwhp on a dyno jet dyno.

GQ's asking because the kits have been on a few cars for a couple of weeks and nobodys posted a dyno yet. One of these cars have been dynoed by now but, for some reason none have been posted from a production kit in the hands of a customer. Not that we don't believe your dyno's
We just want to see it first hand, it's a new toy

So your saying since my numbers are from a Dyna pack (load dyno) I can go to a Dyno jet and get higher numbers?

Even 360whp on a dynojet with the APS kit at 6psi is pretty darn good. I was just curious if others have dynoed with a dynojet. Since just about everyone on the F/I board has dynoed with Dynojets. I have no doubt, that becuase of a better matched turbo, the APS will generate more power at a given boost level...up to about 18psi.

dynojets do not always read lower. i have seen car that put down around 290 on a mustang dyno then put down almost 40hp less on a dynojet.

the only way to know what it puts down on a dynojet is to put it on a dynojet. what i dont understand is how people can afford over $10,000 to put all this stuff in their car... but they dont dyno it?

Alpines APS TT Z car was tested on an DTS dyno (load based dyno) and measured approx 360 RWHP on 91 octane fuel, this power reading would be higher on a Dyno Jet Dyno, my best estimate would be approx 390 to 400 rwhp from past experience.

Thanks

I Agree with you Phunk 100% and that's what we did. We tested an APS TT Z car on our Dyno dynamics dyno and then tested the identical car on Dyno Jet Dyno on the same day, same environmental conditions, and the power difference was exactly 36rwhp, 363 rwhp on the Dyno dynamics dyno (load type dyno) and 399 rwhp on the Dyno jet dyno (inertia type dyno).

As you stated phunk there's no substitute for conducting an actual dyno test on the car in question.

LOL....it was the track rules. All cars must drive with their windows down...in case of a fire or an accident..

Lets just say the left side of my body was a tad wet.
