Default tt track times

so again...keep in mind i'm at 5500 ft altitude...and still running stock rims and tires (235's in the rear)

best 1/4 time: 13.040 @ 113.11mph
60 ft: 2.056
660ft: 8.594

thats with 9lbs (closer to output of est 7lbs at sea level)

i'll be getting some new wheels soon, expecting to hit 12.8 for sure!

...this was my first time on a dragstrip, EVER!, no traction in 1st and second gear...

With that trap speed you can pull a low 12sec pass with a set of ET Streets.

Congrats!

given the very good 2.0 second 60' time you got on the street tires, i would think that you were getting a lot of wheel spin even after the launch to end up with 13.0 at 113.

if the wheels you are getting are like most of us with 19's... that doesnt really make it much easier to get down the 1/4... maybe a set of drag radials to put on your stock rims would do you some good justice. easy 12 second car with traction for sure.

You 60ft times are actually very very solid. If I had those 60ft times, I would have been in the mid to low 12's on street tires.

Looks like your 17's are actually getting traction off the line than my big 19's. Your sidewalls have more flex, and that helps you in the 60ft's.

i started off the line very gently....i think i revved to about 3000 rmp's and feathering the clutch to avoid spinning, i felt like i was driving miss daisy, as soon as i shifting into second, i gave it some more gas, it spun for a second and then when it gripped, that's when i really got going, i wasn't expecting the 60ft times to be good at all..i was suprised...

thanks for the imput gq...let me know when i can order the pistons/rods.. and other parts i need, i want to start accumulating everything soon!
