Yes, I was asked if I wanted a bypass valve and said, "No, it never rains all that heavy here [Texas]." The day it was put on I got caught in a BAD storm...Gonna order that pretty soon...lol.

have you tried doing an ecu reset? that may help. as all know, mods affect air movement in our cars greatly leans it out, so the ecu might not like what it sees from the maf.

ps-in all reality, i never understood the point of a CAI for our cars. isn't that what the "power box" is for. if you look at it, it's well shielded, and injests air from outside the engine bay.
