You seem to be implying that stick-on is a good thing?

im thinking of asking a shop to wrap the original pieces in carbon fiber. that is how those things are made anyways. just a piece of fiberglass wrapped with carbon fiber. maybe it can be done, maybe not. wont know till i ask.

I don't care how it's made just as long as it looks good, doesn't wear out, and doesn't look like a Shrinky Dink!

Default For the Holiday Season...

We will have a sale. Normally we charge about $1.20 per square inch of surface area per part (yes, holes are included) for woodgrain and about 10 cents more for carbon fiber, or $1.30. So for the holidays we will drop that to $1.00 for woodgrain and $1.10 for the CF pattern on any parts you have. You can do the measuring yourself and be within 5% of the final price. I don't have G measurements so just measure it up yourself, edge to edge. Send the parts in to us, we have them for 4-5 days and send them back.

Just to be clear regarding how to calculate the area, for a 6mt, does the "hole" where the shift boot and shifter go count or not?

Yes, as I said above, 'holes are included'. This formula takes holes into consideration. Use gross dimensions.

Ok, wanted to clarify how large a hole counted as for the G35c 6mt, the bottom section of the dash is a seperate piece and most of it is a hole, so we'd be paying for the whole thing as though the hole wasn't there, but surface area wise, the hole takes up more of the surface area than the non-hole part.

We must use the formula taking into consideration the presence of hols. We do many vehicles and they all have holes. To sit down and do complex calculations in order to arrive at a precise area/per part would take longer then doing the work to the part and force me to brush up on high school math and I dun wanna do that. Besides even subtracting the holes, you forget the gross dimension is what determines the size of the film used to transfer the pattern. If I cut out holes from the film, what do I do with the leftover holes?
