No out of the ordinary problems here. Even my M3 has rattles, and so does my boys Porsche 911. Rattles are a natural occurrence. My G35 exhibits zero problems at the moment.

I didnt no there was so many complaints on the z. I here the same things over and over again. About how some gears might grind and the interior rattles and the feathering, is it still worth getting it if there are so many complaints?

A lot of people just don't understand the nature of high performance cars. They do have interior rattles - all of them. M3s, ferraris, 300ZXs and 350Zs. It's a byproduct of a stiff suspension and cold weather. The 350Z is no worse than other sports cars in this regard.
The tire feathering is a legitimate issue. With swapping of the front tires, hopefully people will hopefully be able to get 10-12k out of a set which is poor but acceptable to me for a 140 treadwear tire. I'm hoping that a better tire will let us get 15k/set. Maybe I'm dreaming.
As for the tranny grind, I have not yet seen a late-model car whose forum did NOT have complaints regarding this issue. The Z's tranny is not isolated as many cable-operated trannies are and I'm sure this exacerbates the problem. Still, there are many pre-order owners with no tranny issues after 10s of thousands of miles..so....you have to make your mind up on this issue.
Other than these issues there are really no other major issues that I know of. For me the Z has been an incredibly fun car to own and operate. It's no civic in terms of maintenance costs though.

I've had my '04 G35 6-speed for almost a year - 8k miles. The only rattle I've found is the dimming rearview mirror.
No clunking or grinding in the tranny - no feathering. Honestly I love the car. I'd highly recommend it for a daily driver.

Rattles? Damn you guys are picky. Ask the guy above how his supra is with the top off because mine rattled like crazy when the targa was off! Just get a louder exhaust and turn up the stereo.

Anyways i wanna get a z in the next couple of months the problem is i dont no how to drive stick and may get the auto which will sacrafice speed. so wat are the 0-60 times on the auto, quarter mile time and wat it traps at. I no the six speed does the 60 in about 5.5 at best and it traps at about 101 and goes through the quarter at about 13.9-14.2 Is there a great difference between the two where i get the auto and wish i learned to drive the six speed. Its not hard to learn how to drive stick, it just takes practice.
track times are garage, it all comes down to driver skill and how the driver is able to control his/her car.

Thats what ive been told. I just was curious about the auto and wat the times are for it. Ive seen vids of an auto z vs a lighting and the z wins slightly by about a bumpers length from 60 pulls. Which made me curious to no wat times they run. Plus ive heard many complaints on the z's shifter when goin into 2 or 3 gear. Ive been told not to worry. Im just curious as i said earlier.

minor rattles here and there... lots of gear grinds during cold shifts... a rear michelin blew out on me in the freeway once about a year and a half ago... could have been due from feathering.
anyway, the car itself is not purely luxury, but rather with a big splash of sport. like many people have stated, minor rattles and other conveniences are inevitable. the drivability, power and handling precision makes up for it. handling modifications work wonders, and i am VERY happy with my car (except for an occasional steering 'clunk').
interestingly, all my rattles are gone after two and some years... and for the price of the car considering the specifications, it's a no brainer choice for the value concious enthusiast.
