Aside from tire feathering the issues are the same. G35s don't seem to have widespread tire issues, but have seen a few rare complaints with uneven tire wear (not sure if it's actually feathering).

G35s have every problem that 350Zs do, except for tire feathering thanks to a slightly modified suspension.

A friend of mine bought a used g35 and it had feathering. They didn't do anything about it.

There was a recall on the center consol for the Temp control/CD changer. I had my replaced on day 1, yes, the day I was at the dealer to pick it up. But they replaced it right away and this car has zero problem after that.. I heard a little rattling last weekend but not sure if it was the cd's or what. But overall, I am HAPPY!

Only speaking for myself-- I have a 2003 G35 coupe with about 8200 miles. No problems, perfect, consumes zero oil, smooth incredibly precise shift/clutch combo, great power and awesome handling. Any other questions???

JBA Infiniti in Ellicott City, MD treated me very well and gave me the best deal.
Greg Hayes was the sales manager (should still be), and I dealt with him and had no problems getting what I wanted (though I had reasonable expectations).

Bro, all cars get rattles when it's cold out, because parts shrink differently when they're made out of different materials. Unless you pay like $75k and up it seems.

Absolutely right. Even if you pay $75k and up you aren't guaranteed anything - ask a porsche owner. Any stiff-suspension car will develop rattles, and these rattles are worse in cold weather. I don't really consider them a defect, but they are endemic to both the Z and the G. I'm sure Nissan/Infiniti could have made the interiors rattle less though.

for the interior rattles, couldnt you take some time and locate the rattle and put some a piece of rubber, stickytack, etc to some the rattles? i mean if it is INSIDE the dash or something that would suck but if it is outside i am sure you can stop the rattles...

my passport x50 rattles against my windshield on crappy freeways but i put some left over rubber stickies on the part that contacts the window and no more rattle haha...

ok so 2.5 inches lowered and 19" wheels.....I have 2 questions for you.

Do you scrape on every little bump in the road?
What kind of camber do you have?

My car is dropped 1.2" front and 1" back and i scrape on almost everything on the road. I just want to know how your setup is possible.

True dat. My Tein S-Techs (1.2/1) have me scraping on speed bumps that I used to have no problem with. I love the ride and look but I hate negotiating parking garages, etc... A 2.5" drop is hard to imagine unless I'm on the track.
