g35 sales--dealer compliance
HISTORY
Sold the 350z ( lousy service, 03 major problems) , got a great deal on a 04 accord under invoice, practical, peppy, excellent handling..... But miss having a fun car
When I was shopping for a g35 two yrs ago (6mt) the dealers were asking 2-3 K over msrp and there was 0 allocation.
I recently went to a dealer and there were 6 2004 models on the lot, not including 6mt's.
comments on dealer flexibility, prices?

When I bought my 2004 6mt last March they had several on the lot but were not willing to negotiate. I got up to leave the dealer about 3 times and was stopped by the sales guy every time. I finally got $1000 of the sticker price. I went 03/28/04. You have a better chance of negotiating at the end of the month because of quotas.

That's weird. My sales guy was willing to negoiate more on the 5AT than the 6mt......supposedly they make more 5AT's than 6mt's.

I got an '03 ex-demo w 5,000 miles back the end of '03. I paid $1,500 under invoice. I was walking out on new one for $1,000 over invoice when the General Manager presented his demo. He was an old fart, so he didnt look the type that would go over 55 MPH or abuse the car. Try getting a possible demo as well. GMan is right on the 6MT, they are in more demand than the autos.

Wow! $3400 of the sticker? What's the population in your area on how is the job market. You could never negotiate a price like that on a car that is in demand in the Miami area. Large population and a majority makes money out the ****!!!!!!
You try that sh*t here and they will tell you to get of the lot!
